About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to join our operational team as a Store Person. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Picking and processing distribution orders, including generating computer-based freight documentation
  • Conducting stock control movements via RF scanner
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers
  • Performing stock takes and cycle counts

We require someone with extensive experience in warehouse and distribution tasks, a clear understanding of inventory accuracy, and the skills to operate computer systems. A strong focus on teamwork, health and safety, especially when operating forklifts, is essential.

Your Skills and Attributes:

We're looking for someone who is highly dedicated and committed to the business. You should be approachable, friendly, and professional, with a sense of humour and easy-going attitude. Integrity and trustworthiness are crucial, as well as adaptability and flexibility within a changing work environment. Self-motivation and results-oriented thinking are also key.

Requirements:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment
  • Extensive experience driving a forklift, including loading and unloading trucks
  • Valid forklift license
  • Experience in inwards / outwards goods and general distribution processes
  • Demonstration of understanding and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Experience with MRP system/preferably SAP
  • Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
