We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Leader to join our team at ASB Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust regulatory risk governance and reporting framework. Your expertise will be invaluable in identifying emerging risks and mitigating potential threats to the bank's operations.

Working closely with our government relations and regulatory affairs teams, you will align on regulatory risk reporting and governance processes. Your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively will be essential in drafting and reviewing regulatory reports for our board, executive leadership team, and risk committees. Additionally, you will build and maintain open and transparent relationships with ASB's primary regulators, ensuring timely and efficient responses to their queries.

We require an individual with experience in New Zealand financial services or government and parliamentary processes. Proven relationship management skills and demonstrated critical decision-making abilities are also necessary. Advanced communication, prioritisation, and planning skills are required, as well as relevant tertiary qualifications in law, finance, or commerce.
