About the role
  • Support families to develop their capacity to care for their children and young people.

Ideal candidate

We are seeking an experienced social worker who possesses a deep understanding of child welfare principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Full registration with the New Zealand Social Work Registration Board (SWRB).
  • A social work qualification recognized by the SWRB.
  • A proven track record of working effectively with children, young people, and their families in a child welfare context.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
