About the Job

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at IDEA Services. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities to develop their independence and acquire skills for daily living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help individuals with tasks such as public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation
  • Provide physical support and care as needed
  • Work flexible shifts, including weekends

What You'll Need

  • Previous experience working within the disability sector or aged care (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers and tablets daily
  • Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support
  • A Full NZ driver's license
