  • Providing expert policy advice on kaupapa inquiries, including the Waitangi Tribunal's Health Services and Outcomes Inquiry (Wai 2575) and related government processes.
  • Supporting evidence preparation for inquiries and legal proceedings, working collaboratively across the Ministry, public sector agencies, and Crown Law.
  • Applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles to ensure policy and advice reflect commitments to Māori health equity and Treaty obligations.
  • Monitoring risks, progress, and outcomes for kaupapa inquiries, ensuring high-quality reporting and strategic issue management.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration across the health sector, government, and Māori communities.
