Job Summary

About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to make a genuine contribution to the wellbeing of New Zealand's citizens. You will be responsible for developing and leading policy advice as part of a comprehensive program aimed at eliminating family violence and sexual violence. Your expertise will be invaluable in driving transformative outcomes and ensuring the long-term sustainability, health, and integrity of the family violence and sexual violence system.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead policy advice to help eliminate family violence and sexual violence* Collaborate with colleagues across various sectors to drive meaningful change* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders* Provide leadership to ensure the long-term sustainability, health, and integrity of the family violence and sexual violence system* Work closely with government agencies to achieve transformative outcomes* Foster good relationships with colleagues and stakeholders* Demonstrate high level of cultural competency, including understanding of Te Tiriti and commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion

Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience* Prior experience at a Senior Advisor level in a central government policy context* High level of cultural competency, including understanding of Te Tiriti and commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills* Demonstrable social policy experience at a Senior Advisor level* Good networks and connections across the Public Sector and knowledge of the family violence and sexual violence sector* Sound knowledge of analysis and theory of Family Violence and Sexual Violence
