Mental Health and Addiction Support Professional

This is a full-time, fixed-term position based in New Plymouth. The role involves supporting young people to reach and maintain physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside young people to promote their overall wellbeing.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation and cleanup.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Team Coach and working in a team of youth workers. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and dedicated individual to join our service.
Requirements- National Certificate in Mental Health and Addiction Support Work (Level 4) or National Certificate in Youth Work.
- Understanding of trauma-informed care and working with young people.
- Full NZ driver's licence.
- Understanding of Information Technology – Microsoft Office preferred.
- Current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
- Previous experience in youth work, social work, mental health, and addiction preferred.
