Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical assessments and develop effective treatment plans for patients with upper limb injuries or conditions
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Supervise and support junior practitioners in their professional development
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

About You

  • You hold current registration and practicing certificate with either Te Poari Whakaora Ngangahau o Aotearoa or Te Poari Tiaki Tinana o Aotearoa (the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand or the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand)
  • You have experience working with patients who have complex upper limb injuries or conditions
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • You are committed to upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches in healthcare settings
