**Job Description:**
Findex Hr And H&S Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Finance Administrator to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software
- Process invoices, manage debtors and creditors, and oversee payroll functions
- Ensure timely filing and payment of GST and PAYE returns, conduct bank reconciliations, and process payments
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, support audits, and contribute to annual accounts preparation
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2 year minimum) in a finance administration role, with proficiency in Xero accounting software, payroll, and a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and discretion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate insightful financial reports and identify process improvements
- Commitment to continuous professional development and an understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
