**Life Enhancement Services Overview:**
We are a statewide nonprofit legal aid program dedicated to providing civil legal assistance to low-income individuals throughout Colorado. With thirteen offices, we strive to bring about substantive, transformational change in the lives of those we serve.
**About the Position:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Professional Service Coordinator to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will work closely with applicants to identify their specific legal issue and provide guidance on available resources. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to empathize with others will be essential in creating a positive experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our eligibility guidelines and service areas.
- Demonstrate cultural responsiveness and emotional intelligence during information-gathering conversations with applicants.
- Guide applicants to identify their specific legal issue and share relevant information.
- Refer eligible applicants for legal advice, brief services, or full representation, in accordance with our disposition instructions.
- Ensure complete and accurate data entry into case management systems and client files.
Requirements:
- An Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification, and/or commensurate experience.
- At least one year of experience in legal support, paralegal work, intake specialist roles, or other relevant positions.
- Able to work independently, managing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
