Resolving Tenancy Disputes:
In this critical role, you will work with landlords and tenants to resolve disputes and problems related to tenancy agreements under the Residential Tenancies Act 1986.
You will utilize a range of approaches, including telephone mediation, in-person, and videoconference delivery of mediation services to help parties reach an agreed settlement and improve their relationship.
Your expertise in conflict resolution and problem-solving will enable you to provide expert support, information, and assistance to those involved.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Understanding of conflict dynamics and dispute resolution processes
* Familiarity with the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 and associated statutes and contract law
* Proven experience in mediation, conciliation, or similar roles
* Ability to work effectively in emotionally charged environments and maintain confidentiality
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
