Horticultural Specialist

About the Role:

Green By Nature is seeking a skilled Horticultural Specialist to join our team in Nelson. As a key member of our grounds maintenance crew, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results in gardening and horticulture across multiple sites.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining high standards of garden appearance and overall health through regular inspections and pruning
• Ensuring effective vegetation control and weed management to prevent the spread of invasive species
• Planting, weeding, and other general gardening tasks as required
• Maintaining equipment and tools in good working order
• Collaborating with team members to achieve shared goals and maintain a positive work environment

Requirements:

• A current full driver's license with manual vehicle experience
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
• A strong knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to the role
• A passion for working outdoors and contributing to the natural environment
