The Role
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Patient at Risk Team. The successful candidate will have experience in critical care environments and be able to demonstrate advanced communication, problem-solving, and assessment skills. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- To assess and manage patients at risk of deterioration in their condition
- To communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- To participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- To contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' acute clinical experience in a NZ hospital setting
- Experience in management of the undifferentiated patient is ideal
- Ability to work in a complex changing environment and be able to manage multiple competing priorities
- Motivation and self-direction
