About the Role: We are seeking experienced Pacu nurses to join our team at Waitakere Hospital on a casual basis. As a key member of our Surgical Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized care to patients recovering from surgery
  • Assessing and managing patient needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Participating in handovers and contributing to the development of care plans

About You: To be considered for this role, you will need to have a New Zealand Registered Nurse qualification with a current Annual Practising Certificate. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Pacu setting is required, with paediatric experience being an added advantage. You should also possess excellent communication skills, be motivated, and have experience working collaboratively as part of a team.
