Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Power Technician to join our team in Hamilton. This is a challenging role that requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for providing technical support to management and field delivery of high voltage substation testing works. This includes:

  • Working with management to plan and agree on work objectives
  • Scoping jobs effectively and identifying environmental factors
  • Ensuring plant and equipment are compliant, in good working order, and fit for purpose

Responsibilities:
You will also be responsible for:

  • Providing support for estimating works to ensure they are priced correctly
  • Interpreting technical drawings and specifications when required
  • Performing competent audits and quality checks
  • Articulating job methodologies and approach clearly
