Are you a skilled tradesperson looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in maintenance or a related field? We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Person to join our team at Meadowbank in Auckland.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires you to be a 'Jack/Jill of all Trades'. You will undertake a range of maintenance duties across the site, from minor repairs to major projects. You will also liaise with external contractors, staff, and residents, using your excellent communication and organisational skills.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous trade experience, preferably in maintenance or a related field;
  • Knowledge of the Building Code and compliance requirements; and
  • An understanding of Health and Safety principles and practices.

You will also require:

  • Reliability and self-motivation to work independently and as part of a team;
  • The ability to think outside the box and find creative solutions to problems;
  • An approachable, friendly nature to interact with our residents, visitors, staff, and external contractors;
  • Great organisation and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines;
  • A good level of physical fitness to perform manual tasks safely and efficiently; and
  • A clean NZ drivers' licence to travel between sites.
