About the Department

Our Radiology department at Nelson Hospital offers a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including General Radiography, CT Scanning, Interventional/Cardiac Cath Lab, Ultrasound and MRI. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are passionate about providing quality patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services using various techniques and equipment
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of diagnostic radiography principles and practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation in diagnostic radiography principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
  • Registration with the NZMRT Board and a current APC
