Tehyatua is a 29-bed rehabilitation unit that provides safe care facilities for individuals. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working to support tangata whaiora on their journey towards recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to provide person-centred care and promote independence among patients.
- Supervise and support Mental Health Support Workers to undertake care activities.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
- A pre-registration or post-registration qualification in MH nursing (or ID).
- Registration with New Zealand Nursing Council.
- A current practising certificate (APC).
- A full NZ driving licence.
