We are seeking an experienced Associate Geotechnical Engineer to join our Auckland office. The successful candidate will provide design and consulting services on projects in New Zealand and Australia. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate geotechnical projects.
  2. Evaluate and characterise soil and rock ground conditions.
  3. Perform geotechnical engineering analyses and calculations.
  4. Prepare technical reports and documentation.
  5. Develop construction drawings and specifications.
  6. Participate in business development activities.
  7. Provide technical leadership to junior staff.

Qualifications:

  1. BS in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
  2. Ability to manage multiple assignments and supervise junior staff.
  3. Familiarity with geotechnical analysis software and numerical analysis techniques.
  4. Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  5. Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand or able to obtain within 1 year from hire date.
  6. Willingness to travel for short-term assignments.
