Gisborne Hospital is the base hospital for the wide geographical area, providing enormous scope and variety in the work available to an enthusiastic and skilled obstetrician and gynaecologist.
About the Job
The successful candidate will work collaboratively and cohesively with the other team members to provide effective services for the Tairāwhiti region. This role involves working in a small, dynamic team to develop the O&G services and participating in continuous improvement within the Department. A 70% clinical responsibilities and 30% non-clinical split is expected, with participation in the on-average 1:4 or 1:5 (but can be 1:3 when necessary for internal cover) on-call roster covering maternity, acute gynaecology admissions, and gynaecology inpatients.
