About This Role

This key assurance position is part of NEMA's Assurance function. Our team works closely with Government and the public to provide assurance regarding the emergency management system's performance and capability.

NEMA's assurance activities focus on developing and implementing consistent standards, conducting nationwide assurance tasks, and delivering high-quality assessments, reports, and advice to decision makers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive assurance system, encompassing standard development and monitoring and evaluation tool creation.
  • Conduct in-depth assurance activities, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Deliver timely and high-quality advice and reports to senior leaders.
  • Support emergency response and recovery efforts at national, regional, or local levels.
  • Foster a high-performing team environment, prioritizing staff wellbeing and welfare.
  • Build strong relationships with national, regional, and local partners and stakeholders.
