Job Description

A Kaitiaki at Summerset is a unique and rewarding role that requires a special kind of person. As a trustee, minder, custodian, steward, and guardian, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of our residents. Your days will be filled with activities such as assisting with recreational and group exercises, helping physiotherapists, and supporting our residents during mealtimes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. As a Kaitiaki, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility. While previous experience is not necessary, we do require a willingness to learn and grow with us. We will provide training and support to help you achieve your National Certificate in Health, Disability and Aged Support.
