The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing asset management processes and practices, ideally across multiple teams or organization-wide. They will also be responsible for ensuring asset management data and asset performance metrics are in place and support effective decision making.

This role is set at Individual Contributor level, which means the key purpose is to deliver or enable others to deliver the organization's business objectives. As a Senior Policymaker, the successful candidate will contribute to shaping the organization's policies and strategies related to asset management.

In this role, you will work within the Investment Management, Planning and Delivery directorate to develop and embed asset management frameworks, artefacts, and practice more widely across Police to support frontline service delivery. Asset classes include Property, Fleet, Operational Equipment, and ICT.

You will be working towards specific goals and targets that highlight the intent to work collaboratively with iwi and communities, other government sectors, and business partners to deliver 'Our Business' and achieve long-term change.
