Job Description:
The Engineering Manager plays a crucial role in the Site Management Team, ensuring the effective management and maintenance of Plant assets. This involves leading a team of Engineers to minimize production downtime due to engineering and maintenance requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Engineering Manager and Improvement Engineers to facilitate and manage plant improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain a strong focus on cost and resource management, prioritizing expenditure decisions to meet business objectives.
* Provide confident leadership to an existing well-skilled engineering team, fostering a positive culture within the maintenance department.
* Experience in fast-paced manufacturing facilities with a focus on preventative maintenance, as well as hygienic food manufacturing environments.
Requirements:
* Appropriate qualifications and/or experience in the engineering field, with knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015.
* Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, complemented by planning and judgment skills.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail.
