We're seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a National Manager of Emergency Management and Business Continuity. As a key member of our senior leadership group, you'll play a critical role in shaping our organisational resilience and response to emergencies.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to build long-term organisational resilience and emergency preparedness
  • Lead a team of specialists in emergency management and business continuity
  • Establish and maintain vital relationships with stakeholders across the Ministry and externally
  • Maintain expertise in NZ emergency management frameworks and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-agency teams to develop effective strategies and plans

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience at a senior level
  • Exceptional influence and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Knowledge of NZ emergency management frameworks and systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
