Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring our factory operates efficiently and meets production targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain machinery across the business to ensure seamless production and safe operation
  • Conduct preventative maintenance as part of the Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) program to minimize breakdown risks
  • Document maintenance activities using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Perform root cause analysis to address shop floor issues and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Level 4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar maintenance engineering role
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks (or other CAD software) and mechanical design
  • Strong mechanical engineering skills, including troubleshooting and repairs
