About the Role
This key position plays a crucial role in supporting Asset Management improvement initiatives to lift the Asset Management maturity and capability across the Council. As a Senior Advisor, you will assist in revising the Council's asset management system, ensuring improvements align with Council priorities and legislative requirements.

  • Assist in the revision of Council's asset management system, contributing to maturity assessments and related improvement programmes.
  • Ensure Asset Management improvements align with Council priorities and legislative requirements.
  • Support the development of Asset Management Plans, Infrastructure Strategy, Long Term and Annual Plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal applicant will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or extensive experience in Asset management planning, at least five years' experience in a similar environment, and a sound understanding of formal guidelines such as NAMS, IPWEA International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as is the ability to work both collaboratively and independently, with a focus on meeting timeframes and objectives.
