As a key member of our team, the Hamilton Quality Improvement Leader will drive quality improvement strategies and actions achieving continuous improvement in plant, customer quality and food safety performance.

Job Description
  • Provide leadership in quality improvement methodologies as part of the site leadership team.
  • Coach and be a role model of the behaviours required to achieve excellent performance both within our plant and for our customers.
  • Act with urgency to protect the customer and expedite return to steady state.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in an engineering or science discipline, proven experience in Quality roles within the Packaging/Chemical industries, and certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent. Strong people management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive performance improvement by facilitating regular measured reviews with manufacturing departments.
  2. Design and implement shop floor product/process quality control systems focusing on zero defect manufacturing methods.
  3. Liaise with other functions across SAC to ensure the voice of the customer is heard and the organization drives for total customer satisfaction.
