Role Summary

This role supports the Geothermal Centralised Operations Project working out of the Kawerau Power Station. Once the project is complete, you'll be based at our Nga Awa Purua generation site, 15 minutes from Taupo. You'll join a team passionate about producing New Zealand's renewable energy.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, manage and continuously improve Mercury's geothermal generation assets
  • Ensure compliance with statutory legislation
  • Provide support to the Production Technician as required

Skills and Qualifications

  • Engineering or National Certificate in Energy and Chemical Plant (Process Operation) Level 4
  • Preferable to have some if not all the following experience: Experience working on a High Hazard Facility and within Process Safety, Experience in electricity generation, geothermal an advantage
