**Job Overview**

Auckland Transport is a leading organization dedicated to transforming Auckland into a vibrant city. We are seeking an exceptional Programme Manager to lead our Group Shared Service initiatives, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects.

As a key leadership role within our organization, you will build and lead cross-functional programme teams, ensuring cost-effective and timely project planning, procurement, communication, and engagement. Your expertise in Programme Management will be crucial in positively representing the programme internally and externally.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead cross-functional programme teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, procuring resources as needed
  • Represent the programme at various levels, both internally and externally
  • Maintain open communication with stakeholders, partners, and the wider community

**Requirements**

  1. 15+ years of extensive Programme delivery experience, preferably in a Technology space
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role
  3. Relevant tertiary qualification and/or MSP or equivalent industry recognized certification
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels
  5. Experience in leading large cross-functional teams
  6. Good understanding and appreciation of local government workings and statutory requirements
