\We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Alternate National Welfare Manager.
\This is a key leadership role within the National Emergency Management Agency, requiring strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across various sectors.
\As Alternate National Welfare Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining New Zealand's national emergency management planning framework, partnering with social and infrastructure sectors to build resilience across the 4 Rs of risk reduction, readiness, response, and recovery in support of communities.
\You will also contribute to the development of guidance, frameworks, and doctrine, leveraging your experience in the social services and/or emergency management sectors.
