Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our client's dynamic team in Christchurch. The ideal candidate will be a skilled healthcare professional with a passion for primary care, leadership experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership: Demonstrate expertise in complex primary care scenarios, lead multidisciplinary teams, and provide clinical guidance and oversight
  • Practice Improvement & Development: Collaborate with nursing staff to enhance systems and processes, driving patient care and outcomes
  • Patient-Focused Care: Provide empathetic and efficient healthcare services, adhering to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and promoting effective models of care

Requirements:

  • Clinical Expertise: Registered Nurse Practitioner with NZNC, ideally with 3+ years of primary care nursing experience
  • Advanced Clinical Reasoning Skills: Strong judgment in managing complex patient care scenarios and commitment to evidence-based guidelines
  • Medication Management: Proficient in prescribing and medication management, adhering to best practice standards
