Job Description
The Chief Nursing Officer will be a key member of the Tufts Medicine BH Hospital team, overseeing the direction, planning, coordination, monitoring, and supervision of nursing services. This individual will lead the nursing department in delivering safe, timely, efficient, equitable, and patient-centered care.

Essential Duties
- Develop and implement plans to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes
- Lead the nursing department in meeting physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs of residents
- Supervise and direct work activities of nursing personnel, promoting a positive and professional attitude toward customers and staff
- Establish and achieve performance objectives for the nursing department, evaluating and improving quality of care and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure seamless care delivery

Qualifications
- Active RN licensure
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
- BSN degree from an accredited institution; MSN preferred
- At least 6 years of nursing experience, with 3+ years in progressive management roles
- Experience in free-standing inpatient settings is preferred
- Strong preference for 3+ years of behavioral health experience
