Job Overview

The National Events Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the success of NZIFF 2025. This position is responsible for managing and delivering the nationwide ticketing operation, overseeing project management, and providing support for events across Wellington and Auckland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the coordination and delivery of ticketing operations for NZIFF nationwide.
  • Build and manage ticketing operations in Wellington and Auckland, including pre-sale box office set-ups and in-house ticketing.
  • Supervise box offices in Wellington, ensure correct processes are followed, and provide daily ticket sales reports.
  • Oversee financial reporting and reconciliation of box office revenue nationwide.
  • Deliver prompt resolution of customer complaints, issues, or queries.
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff, including Box Office Managers and cashiers in Wellington and Auckland.
  • Assist with venue management, senior ushers, and volunteers as required.
  • Provide support using Airtable and track costs related to activity.
  • Offer regular reporting and recommendations for future improvements.
