We are seeking a Radiologist to join our team at Te Whatu Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. As an Interventional and/or General Radiologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiology services to the community.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging, with experience in performing a range of procedures including general radiology, ultrasound, MDCT, angiography, and interventional procedures. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of radiology procedures, including general radiology, ultrasound, MDCT, angiography, and interventional procedures.">
  • Provide high-quality patient care and communicate effectively with patients and their families.">
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.">
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to radiology services.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A FRANZCR or similar postgraduate radiology qualification.">
  • Registration with the New Zealand Medical Council (or eligibility for registration).">
  • Experience in performing RANZCR Tier B Interventional procedures (for Interventional Radiologists).">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
