We are looking for an individual who is flexible and able to work a variety of shifts over a 24/7 week.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and accurate stowage of container cargo on board vessels at the container terminal.
This will involve manual labour, working on the wharves and on-board vessels to assist with loading and securing containers by lashing and unlashing containers on vessel decks.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and be a strong team player.
They will also need to act in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
In addition, they will need to have a positive and reliable attitude to work and be committed to a safe work environment and adhere to health & safety procedures.
