Job Summary
A Clinical Psychologist is required to join the team at Middlemore Hospital, working in the Adult Rehabilitation and Health of Older People (ARHOP) service. The successful candidate will be part of a small team providing psychological support services for adult and older adult in-patient rehabilitation, with a focus on stroke patients.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing services for the treatment and rehabilitation of people following life-changing health events. You will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and intervention to enhance coping and adjustment to impairment, as well as assisting with behavioural management difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessment and intervention to enhance coping and adjustment to impairment
- Assist with behavioural management difficulties
- Consultation to the interdisciplinary team
- Provision of clinical services to patients' significant others and support to other clinical staff as required

Requirements
- Eligible to register or registered with the NZ Psychology Board as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Neuropsychologist
- Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZPB
- Minimum 2 years practical experience
- Full driver's license with no limitations
