MASH Trust is a leading provider of disability, mental health, and addiction services. We have services throughout the lower North Island with over 550 staff and volunteers. Our goal is to empower individuals and promote community inclusion.
Salary:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will earn between $23.38 - $29.10 per hour, depending on your qualification.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker. This is a part-time role, working 56 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will work in a supportive environment and be part of a great team atmosphere. The position involves assisting clients with personal cares when required and driving a MASH van. A full NZ Driver Licence is necessary for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be patient, friendly, and kind, with an understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles. A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or commitment to working towards a qualification funded by MASH Trust is also essential.
