Our Heavy Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship programme is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to become a skilled heavy diesel mechanic. Throughout the programme, you will receive first-class training in state-of-the-art facilities, working on some of the most innovative and advanced equipment ranges globally.
**What We Offer**
We offer a nationally recognised trade certificate in your chosen career pathway - New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering - Plant and Equipment (Level 3-4). You will also receive hands-on training with state-of-the-art technology and tools, as well as permanent position within Komatsu upon completion of the programme.
**What We Are Looking For**
We are looking for individuals who have a genuine interest in pursuing a career in heavy automotive engineering, and who are willing to commit to structured, classroom-based, and on-the-job field training. You should have an aptitude for technical/mechanical work, and be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
**Benefits**
We offer competitive salary rates, plus allowances, and Kiwisaver employer contribution matched to employer contribution up to 10%. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a structured apprenticeship development scheme, and travel to Australia for group training sessions.
