About the Role: We are seeking a skilled HR Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the HR Business Partner to provide operational HR support, focusing on employment relations, collective bargaining, and compliance.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support employment relations processes, including note-taking, case tracking, and compliance reporting
- Assist with collective bargaining by recording meetings, liaising with union representatives, and tracking agreements
- Provide HR policy and compliance support, ensuring alignment with employment law
- Act as a trusted HR point of contact for managers and employees
- Research case law, best practices, and industrial relations trends
Requirements:
- Previous HR Advisor experience in a unionized environment
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment law and collective agreements
- Excellent organisation and documentation skills, including case tracking, reporting, and formal correspondence
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels
- Experience in collective bargaining processes is a plus
