The Job Description
A key role within our manufacturing plant, reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Efficiently control and supervise production requirements and resources through work centres to achieve planned targets on a day-to-day basis
• Control Quality Checking of products
• Recruit, train, motivate and develop staff to create a high-performance team
• Work with the Production Manager to lead and motivate a team of workers through practical, fair and consistent application of HR fundamentals
• Participate in training sessions and improvement meetings
• Prepare reports for management regarding productivity, reworks and overtime

About Your Skills and Qualifications
The successful applicant will be a skilled communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. They should display the following skills and attributes:
• Proven experience as a Team Leader within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control and safety standards
• Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office. Experience with SAP will be highly desirable
• Proven problem-solving ability
• Strong attention to detail and a sound understanding of OH&S
