As a member of the team, you will be providing specialist mental health services to individuals aged 18 years and older.

About the Job Description:
  1. The successful candidate will offer consultant services to individuals in need of specialist care, interacting daily with other departments and providing mentorship to junior medical staff assigned to the service.
  2. As part of the MHAS service, you will work in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, community settings inclusive of crisis work, participating in an on-call 1:10 roster.

To be considered for this role, you must be a Psychiatrist who is vocationally registered or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety of people from various backgrounds, focusing on achieving results and developing and maintaining good working relationships in the workplace.
