Position: Apprentice Installation & Repair Technician

\

We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals with experience in construction, mechanical trades, or related fields to join our team as Apprentice Installation & Repair Technicians. No prior experience with overhead doors is necessary—comprehensive training will be provided.

\

Responsibilities:

\
  • \
  • Assist the lead technician in the installation and repair of residential and commercial overhead doors and openers.\
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of all products, enhance mechanical skills, and learn new installation techniques to meet high standards of quality workmanship with minimal warranty issues.\
  • Implement safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment.\
  • Ensure all job tickets are accurately completed, signed, and submitted.\
  • Communicate with management regarding any problems or changes in the scope of work.\
  • Maintain truck inventory and develop an understanding of all parts, including their numbers and descriptions.\
\

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.\
  • The ability to safely lift 75 pounds overhead is essential.\
  • Experience in construction, mechanical, or electrical fields is preferred.\
  • A Clean NY State Driver's License is mandatory.\
  • Ability to pass a drug test and a DOT physical (Non-CDL) is required.\
