About the RoleWe are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Ambulance & Events Volunteers. As an Ambulance & Events Volunteer, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients at various events and on ambulances.
Our Ambulance & Events Volunteers provide critical support to patients through their journey, which may start with a 111 call and end with treatment on scene or transportation to a medical facility. You could be working at local or international sports events, school fairs, concerts, or other community events.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, be trustworthy and reliable, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will also need to possess a full and clean NZ driver's licence and meet our Medical Standards.
We offer NZQA recognised training and ongoing support to ensure you are equipped to perform your duties safely and effectively. Once accepted, your online and classroom training will take around 6-9 months to complete.
