About Qjumpers

Qjumpers is an award-winning, not-for-profit organisation with faith-led roots, that provide a range of social services to communities. We exist to address homelessness, reduce poverty, support the elderly, and ensure young people have hope for the future.

About the Role
  • We are seeking dedicated weekend support workers to provide essential support, companionship, and care in the region between the hours of 7am - 9pm, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Our support workers assist clients to live as independently as possible in their homes with a range of different tasks including personal care, home management, medication oversight, and manual handling.
  • You will establish trust and rapport with clients, respect their dignity and privacy, and maintain a safe and hygienic living environment.

Requirements

  • Previous support work experience is preferred but not required. Full training will be provided.
  • You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude, and reliable transportation to get to and from the client's home.
  • A full or restricted driver's license is necessary for this role.
