The Role
This is a casual care role covering sickness or periods of leave. You will be assisting residents with their day-to-day activities, including showering, delivering meals, and more. This requires a high level of resilience, kindness, and patience. A good level of fitness is also beneficial for delivering personal care at its best.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as showering and dressing
- Deliver meals and refreshments to residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure resident needs are met
Requirements
- Experience in aged care or a relevant qualification
- Compassion and understanding for all types of people from different backgrounds
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
