About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Foreman to join our team at Brandt Group of Companies.

As a Service Foreman, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and monitoring the service team to ensure they have the opportunities and support to develop their skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the workshop operates efficiently and effectively, providing exceptional customer service and meeting company expectations.

  1. Main Responsibilities:
  2. Collaborate with the Service Manager to plan, schedule, assign, and complete work on time and within quoted costs.
  3. Maintain high-quality work standards in the workshop, adhering to company and customer expectations.
  4. Focus on employee training and development, coaching and mentoring apprentices in technical skills and business processes.
  5. Develop and communicate effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
  6. In collaboration with the service manager, create annual department goals and budgets that align with the organisation's financial and operational objectives.
  7. Review work orders for completeness and accuracy before customer billing.

Requirements:

  • Sound mechanical knowledge.
  • People leadership experience is beneficial, but the desire to mentor and help others develop is essential.
  • Highly motivated to provide a clean, safe, and efficient workshop.
