Key Responsibilities
As an Ophthalmology Registrar, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive eye care services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Developing and implementing plans for ongoing patient education and support

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A medical degree and registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Competency in te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
