The JobWe are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our administration team and support business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of te ao Maori and its application in business.
Key Responsibilities- Manage office administration and premises to ensure efficiency and professionalism.
- Lead and support the administration team.
- Oversee IT systems, office facilities, and process improvements.
- Manage financial processes, including payroll coordination, invoicing, and accounts payable.
- Support business development and client relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations and internal policies.
- At least 3 years of experience in office management, business administration, or operations management (preferably in a professional services firm within a high-pressure environment).
- Skilled in administration, IT systems, and process improvement.
- Strong financial administration skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero).
- Strong leadership and people management abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of te ao Maori, tikanga, and kaupapa Maori approaches to business.
- Proficiency in Te Reo Maori (an advantage but not essential).
- Holds a New Zealand driver's licence and residency.
