About Us

Talent Propeller Limited is a leading provider of container sales, leasing, and storage services in New Zealand.

We are seeking an experienced Yard Coordinator and Container Technician to join our team at our Wellington Branch.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing container operations, including gate in/gate out processes, daily depot/yard operations, and customer service.

You will also be required to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, conduct stock takes, and repair and modify containers as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage container gate in/gate out processes
  • Oversee daily depot/yard operations
  • Provide walk-in customer service
  • Liaise with Head Office
  • Liaise with drivers and transport companies
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Conduct stock takes
  • Repair and modify containers as needed

Requirements:

  • Forklift experience, preferably in shipping containers
  • Ability to work hands-on and learn new skills, such as welding
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Knowledge of the container/transport industry (an advantage)
  • Good computer literacy and ability to manage a depot on a daily basis
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Motivated and self-driven individual with a responsible attitude
